After a few days, the Reddit thread discussing the possibility of a hidden trailer on the “Resident Evil 7” demo has slowed down as gamers began to accept that they might just be wasting their time trying to find something that is not even there in the first place.
But Capcom decided to light up the fire again a few weeks ago by sending an e-mail to the fans of “Resident Evil 7.”
The e-mail boasts that two million people have downloaded the demo of the game, even as an accompanying image teases a use for the mysterious dummy finger that has been keeping fans perplexed about its purpose for weeks now.
According to some critics, the presence of the finger hints of an upcoming update that shall add more stuff to the demo trailer.
There is also the fact that the demo is available only for the PlayStation 4 so the gamers on the Xbox One and the PC are momentarily left out.
Some critics are saying that the demo of “Resident Evil 7” was not meant to be puzzled over the same way “P.T.” was despite it being a stand-alone experience. They also added that the dummy finger has more of a role to play and not a direction mechanism or something.
