All in all though, it’s safe to say that Capcom have handled this release pretty much flawlessly. There were many things that could go wrong with it, and the studio actually took a huge risk in many aspects, but it all worked out for them in the end, and the franchise has received a much needed fresh breath of air.
Many fans are now optimistic for the future as well, expecting the studio to develop even greater installments later on now that they know there is a lot of interest in the series.
Indeed, this is exactly what we would expect from Capcom ourselves. They know to strike when the iron is hot and have a lot of experience in the industry, and we don’t see them missing out on such a great opportunity with this franchise.
It does look like many people are focusing on the issues with the game’s camera right now and this has been causing some commotion in the community, but we suspect that this is going to get resolved soon enough, and things will eventually get back to normal. Plus, let’s not forget that PC gamers tend to focus too much on certain types of issues, and FOV is usually very high up on that list for various reasons, from performance to immersion and more.
