NSEA Voice says that Capcom will obviously stand by what’s best for the business and what’s best for these games is to be released at the very least a year apart.
The website says that the remake of the hugely popular “Resident Evil 2” will most likely serve as the 20th anniversary special for the gaming series especially since there was really a clamor for it.
The game is being handled by the same team who handled the original “Resident Evil 2” and “Resident Evil Zero.”
The remake was confirmed late last year. It was then revealed that the upcoming game will be built from the ground up and not a remastered version as with the HD releases of “Resident Evil 4” and “Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.”
If the company decides to release the remake this year, then gamers can expect “Resident Evil 7” to make its way to the gaming consoles by next year.
Reports say that Capcom also needs to assess whether fans are still going to receive the game positively so they know how to improve “Resident Evil 7.”
Apart from the spacing out of the release dates for both games, Capcom should also allocate more time for “Resident Evil 7” with regards to updating the game’s graphics and adding some elements.
