When the Galaxy Tab S was released last year, it also took on some of the features of its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. It is possible that when the Galaxy Tab S2 is released next month, it is likely that it shall also have the same features as that of the Galaxy S6 and the metallic frame is just one of them.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S featured the Exynos 5 Octa 5420, a chip that integrates four Cortex-A15 CPU cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four additional Cortex-A7 CPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz.
The tablet also sports a 3GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2.1-megapixel secondary snapper on the front.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 meanwhile shall have an 8.1-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper. It will also feature a 3,850 mAH battery and shall support 4G LTE connectivity.
While recent leaks showed that the tablet was running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, it is possible that it may come out with the Android 5.1 Lollipop on it.
