Bothwell is a warm-hearted bad boy who is devoted to Mary. While viewers have yet to know what his character will bring to the table, royalty is expected to bring out many of his different qualities in Season 4 of “Reign.”
As previously been rumored, Season 4 of “Reign” shall focus on the life of Queen Mary as a married woman after she married Lord Danley.
Critics are saying that they wanted to know how the relationship would turn out especially since Danley has an ambitious mother who will move mountains just to make sure that her son secures the crown.
Based on the actual events of history, Queen Mary married Lord Danley while she was still the queen. It is expected that their story will be one of the highlights of the upcoming Season 4 of “Reign.”
The first two seasons of “Reign” received a full order of 22 episodes and the third one was lessened to 18. The CW gave the series the green light for another season last March.
Reports point to a possible 2017 release for the new episodes. It’s only reasonable for The CW to not schedule “Reign” for a fall premiere given that there are other shows that deliver good ratings.
