‘Reign’ Season 3 Second Half Promises to be Bigger and Badder than Ever, Says Actress Adelaide Kane!

The second half of Season 3 of the American historical drama TV series “Reign” shall be returning on The CW on April 25 and if the recent interview with actress Adelaide Kane is to be the basis, the show is going to be bigger and badder than ever.

Kane plays the role of Queen Mary of Scot in the TV series and based on previous reports, she will be returning to Scotland after failing to get what she wanted in England.

In a recent interview, Kane revealed that Queen Mary is going to stick around and see if she can help Queen Catherine de Merci since the regency is in question at the moment.

She adds that these are politically volatile times and there will be a lot of shifting of alliances and power in France so Queen Catherine could really use Queen Mary’s support as another queen and as another female ruler in such an incredibly misogynistic patriarchal time when people are trying to cut the French queen down, details Enstarz.

She also disclosed that things will continue to get crazy with “Reign” as time moves on. She said that they are going to keep the court in England as well as in France so it is going to end up as a three-pronged show.

Queenie in the castle

Incidentally, it was also the actress who revealed that she or her character is going to go back to her home country in Scotland when she recently posted a picture of herself dressed as Queen Mary on her Instagram page.

She captioned the post as Queenie in the castle before making it trivial by asking which castle it is.

The last time that Queen Mary was seen in “Reign,” she has been having difficulty finding a rightful husband to become her ally against England, notes Jobs & Hire.

With Scotland also turning against her, fans are actually wondering which castle or court she still continues to gain support. That would surely be known beginning with the midseason premiere of “Reign” Season 3 next week.

An amazing Season 3 finale

Torrance Coombs, the actor who plays the role of Sebastian ‘Bash’ Valuar in “Reign,” has just revealed through Twitter that the current third season of the show shall have an amazing finale.

Coming from someone who has been reported to bid goodbye to the TV series at the end of Season 3, it seems that the actor’s character will have a graceful exit, to say the least. Otherwise, he would have said that the finale is going to be tragic.

While “Reign” has already been renewed by The CW for Season 4, there are reports coming out that Coombs will no longer return next year.

Apparently, the actor will be moving on to another TV series called “Still Star-Crossed” where he will have a bigger and important role. He will be playing the role of Count Paris which is described as the basic Prince Charming.

While nothing much has been said about his character, there are rumors saying that the Count of Mantua is betrothed to marry Juliet, whom he has never met. Eventually, he learns later that Juliet is no more.

Reign Season 3

It would be interesting to find out how “Reign” will bid goodbye to the character of Coombs, whether he will be killed off or just drop completely out of the radar.

Coombs also announced on his Twitter account that filming for Season 3 of “Reign” has already been completed and he promised viewers that the finale will be epic because there will be something big that fans can look forward to.
