The pencil pushers described the current season of “Reign” as amazing and can hardly wait to see how fans would react to their work.
The writers’ confirmation also quashed rumors and speculations that the second half of “Reign” has already been cancelled for good. Because of the great length of the show’s hiatus, reports started coming out that The CW may have already decided to junk the show for good because the network already has a loaded programming the rest of the way.
But with the network’s confirmation of an April 25 air date for episode 11, titled “Succession,” it seems clear that the rumors of cancellation of “Reign” are false. That’s in addition to the fact that there is hardly a network that cancels TV shows right on its mid-season and The CW does not want to be the odd man out in that rather absurd category.
With the confirmation of the show’s renewal for Season 4, the rumors are now completely thrown out of the window.
The loaded programming of The CW has evidently caused the long hiatus of “Reign” Season 3 but since the show is already confirmed to return on April 25, then it is likely meant to air and take the spot of either of the two popular TV series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and “iZombie” on either Monday or Tuesday night.
