‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ to Offer Incredible Emotional Depth and More, Promises Strauss Zelnick

Based on its synopsis, Rockstar Games describes “Red Dead Redemption 2” as an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland featuring the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Incidentally, a recent leak seemed to provide the map for the forthcoming “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The image was posted to NeoGAF before being taken down quickly, but not before being screengrabbed and shared all over the place in social media.

A closer look at the map reveals Great Plains and multiple Caravan camps as potential locations that players would be visiting.

Late last month, there were rumors saying that “Red Dead Redemption 2” would no longer come out this year or next year but most likely in 2018.

According to the speculations, game developer Rockstar Games has decided to push back the release of “Red Dead Redemption 2” to 2018 because it apparently wanted to make sure that the game is capable of supporting virtual reality (VR) technology by then.

However, some critics argued that it would be foolish for Rockstar to release two franchise games in the same year considering that the sixth installment of its highly-anticipated and very popular “GTA” franchise shall reportedly be coming out in 2018 as well.
