‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Sneak Peek to be Released Soon by Rockstar Games, Reveals Ex-Employee of Developer!

Rumors are rife that game developer Rockstar Games will be unveiling the open world Western action-adventure video game “Red Dead Redemption 2” at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 slated this June in Los Angeles, California.

Subsequently, the game shall be released on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and the PC either later this year.

Those rumors actually top off the other speculations regarding the next iteration of the “Red Dead Redemption” video game franchise which are mostly focused on the game’s setting, storyline, and characters.

However, there are now reports saying that a sneak peek of the video game shall soon be released by Rockstar Games, which could actually happen either before or during the E3 2016.

The revelation was actually made by known tipster Fraghero who claimed that his source of the information was a former employee of Rockstar Games, notes the Christian Times.

Fraghero added that according to the former employee of the game developer, Rockstar Games has been working on the game for over four years now.

His source also said that the title of the next installment is “Legends of the West” or simply “Red Dead Redemption 2,” which is a bit off to previous reports that the game’s official title is going to be “Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West.”

A big presence at E3 2016

While Rockstar did not confirm that it would be unveiling “Red Dead Redemption 2” at the E3 2016, its parent company Take-Two Interactive has previously stated that it is going to have a big presence at the Los Angeles event come June.

As it is, there is no game among the development companies under Take-Two Interactive that is as big as “Red Dead Redemption 2” so it was quite easy for both gamers and critics to rightfully assume that the highly-anticipated game is going to be the company’s main attraction at the event.

E3 is regarded as the biggest trade show in the gaming industry in the US and it has been packing in the crowds during its annual event.

Reports also have it that the sequel to “Red Dead Redemption” shall feature larger maps including the Mexican deserts and North American landscapes, notes the Parent Herald.

More importantly, the game promises to give gamers the opportunity to explore the sequel further for a more rewarding and engaging gaming experience.

Putting finishing touches

With reports saying that Rockstar is now working on “GTA 6,” it is now certain that the development of Red Dead Redemption 2” is already completed and the game development company is just putting in the finishing touches and prepping the game for its eventual unveiling and official roll out to the video game retail markets.

Rockstar would surely not allow its focus to be divided between the development of “GTA 6” and “Red Dead Redemption 2” assuming that both games are in development.

It is one of the main characteristics of Rockstar not to focus on the quantity but more on the quality of its releases.

The game development company also aims for perfection which is the reason why its latest release, the “GTA 5” is regarded as the most successful video game in history following its launch on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in October 2013, and on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 one year later, and then on the PC a few months later.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, almost confirmed recently the launching of “Red Dead Redemption 2” at the E3 2016. The exec said that Rockstar will be in the event in a big way.

As it is now, the only game that can make a big impact at the E3 2016 currently at the stable of Rockstar Games is “Red Dead Redemption 2” so it almost sure that it is the particular game that Zelnick has been referring to.
