Red Dead Redemption 2 Plotline Set 12 Years Before ‘Red Dead Redemption’

There have been countless theories regarding the possible plot of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” One speculation suggests that the game would be set in Japan, which seems unlikely considering that the game always had a Western setting.

And if the supposed title of the upcoming game “Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West” is on target, there is simply no way of having an Eastern country like Japan being the setting for a Western-themed video game. West is normally about dry and arid desert which Japan certainly does not have.

There are also reports saying that “Red Dead Redemption 2” will be largely set in the Western part of the country and shall move towards the East.

Accordingly, it is possible that players of “Red Dead Redemption 2” will get the opportunity to move via the railroads and go through other US states like Kentucky, Alabama, North and South Carolina, among others.

In terms of release date, there are reports that the game would come out early next year but there are also speculations that it would happen in October 2016.

The October 2016 release date seems to have a better leg to stand on since it has been the tradition of Rockstar Games to release video games in October to be able to capitalize on the immediate Holiday season that normally comes with shopping frenzies.
