The other video games from Rockstar that could be the dark horses at the upcoming E3 2016 are the latest iteration of “Max Payne” or perhaps “L.A. Noire.”
Rockstar Games have been pretty quiet about the release date of “Red Dead Redemption 2” but one thing is sure, it shall come some six years after the release of the first game.
The release of “Red Dead Redemption 2” this year is consistent also with the statements made by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick almost two years ago when he said that they intend to make “Red Dead Redemption” a permanent franchise.
Zelnick said that he pretty much know the games that are permanent. He said that in addition to “GTA,” he can be sure that “Red Dead Redemption” is also a worthy permanent franchise that also comes with incredible quality.
Zelnick shared that he has been asked a number of times why they do not annualize their game titles. He explained that non-sport titles are better served not on an annual basis to create anticipation and demand.
He also added that they want their game to have the highest quality in the market, which takes time and that they really cannot do it annually.
