‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Good as Confirmed for Launching with the Planned Big Presence of Take-Two at E3 2016!

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has just announced that it will make its presence felt in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held in Los Angeles, California in a big way.

With that being said, game critics believe that the launching of the open world Western action-adventure video game “Red Dead Redemption 2” in the event is good as confirmed. While there are plenty of upcoming games from Take-Two game development companies, the fact that the company wants to make a big splash means that “Red Dead Redemption 2” is being lined up for unveiling as well.

While Rockstar has not made any official announcement or statement regarding the release date of “Red Dead Redemption 2,” what seems consistent with all the rumors and speculations is that the game would likely come out this year on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC. It will come out more than five years after the release of its predecessor, “Red Dead Redemption.”

Bouncing back from a slow year

Take-Two has had a slow year last year but it seems that the company intends to bounce back big time this year.

It has already gone off to a good start this 2016 when “XCOM 2” received high review scores and is doing good sales-wise, despite being released only on the PC, notes iDigital Times.

The company will also be publishing “Battleborn” in May, as well as “Mafia 3” and “Civilization Revolution 2 Plus” for the PlayStation Vita later in the year. But these games are not really the type that could make Take-Two’s presence at the E3 really big. So it is possible that “Red Dead Redemption 2” is that game that the company is keeping up on its sleeves.

In fact, there are reports stating that the predecessor game of “Red Dead Redemption 2” is coming soon to Xbox One Backward Compatibility, which would only further the hype on the upcoming sequel.

“Battleborn” is from Gearbox, one of the companies under Take-Two, but it’s not a game that would set headlines at the biggest gaming convention in the calendar year. So it is likely that Take-Two is pinning its hopes on Rockstar, which only points to “Red Dead Redemption 2,” notes Push Square.

Historically, Rockstar has been pumping out one new title a year but it has been riding the success of “GTA 5” lately so it is expected to come up with something this year and that could be no other than “Red Dead Redemption 2.”

A Triple-A video game title

Take-Two Interactive recently conducted its quarterly financial meeting and as expected, they informed the public that the company has been doing very well income-wise as a result of the money that they have been reaping from “GTA 5” since its release back in 2013

Rockstar North is also generating millions in income through online purchases in “GTA Online.” While there have been rumors that “GTA 6” may be in the works as of this time, it seems that it would not be the surprise this year that Take-Two has announced for gamers recently.

In a recent statement, Take-Two Interactive said that throughout 2016, it will continue to execute proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest quality titles, led by new annual releases of “NBA 2K” and “WWE 2K;” “Battleborn,” a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software, and a soon-to-be-announced new Triple-A title.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Critics believe that the Triple-A title from Rockstar could none other be the open world Western action-adventure video game “Red Dead Redemption 2” as launching a “GTA 6” this year would really be a stretch.

In fact, there are already reports that Rockstar may actually launch “Red Dead Redemption 2” at the upcoming E3 2016 in Los Angeles in June this year

The reports of the arrival of “Red Dead Redemption 2” this year had fans insanely excited because “Red Dead Redemption” is one of the best games of all time.
