“Battleborn” is from Gearbox, one of the companies under Take-Two, but it’s not a game that would set headlines at the biggest gaming convention in the calendar year. So it is likely that Take-Two is pinning its hopes on Rockstar, which only points to “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
Historically, Rockstar has been pumping out one new title a year but it has been riding the success of “GTA 5” lately so it is expected to come up with something this year and that could be no other than “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
Take-Two Interactive recently conducted its quarterly financial meeting and as expected, they informed the public that the company has been doing very well income-wise as a result of the money that they have been reaping from “GTA 5” since its release back in 2013.
Rockstar North is also generating millions in income through online purchases in “GTA Online.” While there have been rumors that “GTA 6” may be in the works as of this time, it seems that it would not be the surprise this year that Take-Two has announced for gamers recently.
In a recent statement, Take-Two Interactive said that throughout 2016, it will continue to execute proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest quality titles, led by new annual releases of “NBA 2K” and “WWE 2K;” “Battleborn,” a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software, and a soon-to-be-announced new Triple-A title.
