Grand Theft Auto VI: San Andreas 2 is already in development and could be launched as early as summer 2015 for the PlayStation One and Xbox One consoles. Although this was declared some time earlier, recent news indicates that it might all be a hoax. The rumor was released from a website known as GrandTimes.com, who provided gamers with a reportedly false press release. It was later found out that the website completely distributes, creates as well as showcases, fake news.
This GTA 6 (dubbed as San Andreas 2) news misled around 40,000 gamers worldwide who shared the piece of news in their social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter. In this alleged sequel, the players will be taken back to 1999 where CJ again returns as the main protagonist. The site also further promoted a ‘brief gameplay demo’, which, according to them was attended by a ‘select few’ journalists.
In this demo, players can witness GTA 6 for the PlayStation 4. The site declared that similar to the previous titles, players can eat out at Cluckin’ Bell, get obese, and at the same time work out in the gym and shed it all out. The players also gain the ability to recruit lead members for various crimes or just let them join you for some entertainment purposes.
On top of that, the website also claimed that GTA 6 will feature voices from various eminent celebrities like rappers Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, actors Ice Cube and Kevin Hart among others. The Epoch Times picked up this fake story from Grand Times and reported that the site published a disclaimer, which was later deleted. It said that GrandTimes was a satire news publication. The events mentioned in their stories were all unoriginal, with no possible similarities to real people or events.
Amidst the fake news and rumors, the GTA fans are still quite excited for the sixth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. The main question so far has been regarding the location of this upcoming title. Rockstar themselves declared that they had no possible idea regarding the location for their next title.
People keep talking about the two principal locations where the game could be based. Miami, also known as Vice City in GTA, is a highly popular location as GTA 6 will supposedly take place in an earlier period. The other possible location could be somewhere in Southern Texas. Rockstar never made a GTA title that was featured in Texas.
It will be an extremely exciting location mainly because of its closeness to Mexico. Guns, Drugs, and Tequila! Sounds like a great combination to me! However, latest rumors also indicate Chicago to be a possible location as well. With so many different speculations, we just have to keep waiting for an official Rockstar announcement.

Houston Texas would be the perfect location for GTA VI. 3 highway loops, huge sprawling city, drag races, Mexican and American themes (even Cajun). 4th largest and one of the fastest growing cities and has some ghetto areas like L.A but also nice areas like The Woodlands or First Colony.
