Rachel Nichols has recently been talking about “Continuum” and the show’s fourth season, which is currently being filmed in Vancouver. The actress who plays on the hit TV show is apparently quite fond of the city, and she sees a lot of potential in it as a setting for the program. She recently opened up a little about her thoughts on Vancouver and why she sees it as so perfect for “Continuum”, and gave an interview in which she discussed some points of the show in general.
According to her, the city has had a major role in the production of the show so far, and it’s important for “Continuum” in many ways. Its atmosphere and overall style are perfect for the show’s futuristic setting, and it just works great in many ways. From the architecture to the buildings and all the glass used all over the city, Nichols apparently sees a lot in Vancouver that makes it ideal for filming “Continuum”.
It’s not just about having a setting that meshes well aesthetically, however – Nichols also explained that Vancouver is ideal for filming “Continuum” in particular as it saves work for the people involved in the production. They don’t need to apply many special effects to get the right futuristic feel in most cases, as the city already has that available.
The main point that Rachel Nichols brought forward was that the city has a certain quality to it that gives it a very strong futuristic vibe, something which the crew hasn’t been able to find anywhere else so far. At least, not someplace where they have such convenient access for filming.
Earlier, Nichols was talking about her relations with the TV network, thanking them for the opportunity to finish the show with the proper conclusion that its fans have been asking for and deserve. According to her, the final season is actually entirely dedicated to fans of the show, so we’re likely going to get a slightly different experience compared to the previous three seasons.
And indeed, there have been some rumors that the show will be seeing some minor changes to its format, but so far we haven’t been able to confirm that. We don’t know what those changes might be either, but it will likely have something to do with the way the story is being told. After all, the show is wrapping up at this point, and all episodes in the new season will be leading up to a conclusion of the storyline. So, in that regard, we expect something more unusual.
