Queen to Go on a Tour Around North America, Accompanying Them is Adam Lambert, Who Shares His Thoughts About the Situation

Adam also said to Time that for awhile there, just being a gay artist in the music industry defeated him at certain m; this fact has messed with my head as well also making him feel a little uncertain about himself.  He said that he doesn’t know how much the gay community supports their own, but it would be nice; he feels if they could encourage each other up a bit more.

While looking at kids from today’s generation, Adam said that he feels that they are much more hopeful. Adam concludes that at the end of the day it is “us” projecting “our” self-loathing. Still, he finds that it is interesting for it is generational as well.

He is glad that the artists coming up nowadays are a lot more gender fluid, and they are less hung up on typical gender roles.

He also finds this thing funny as when he looks at some kid rocking nail polish or a little glitter he can’t help but smile and say that he has been doing it for years, it is nothing new.

Adam is also working on his solo album right now. He says about the sound of his album that he wants to try something a little different than what he did before and it’s a lot earthier.

  1. This tour is every bit as ambitious as the 2014 N America/Canada tour. These men have been performing spectacular LIVE show for about 5 years now. Most people of a certain age have never seen a live show, they’ve seen a lip-synch show, that’s why they’re so blown away when they see Queen and Adam Lambert…and because Adam is insanely talented!!
