Fans are pretty much eager to see how the writers play out the conflict between cousins Elizabeth and Mary. Megan Follows, who plays Catherine and Rachel Skarten’s chemistry was very evident in the last minute of last season’s series finale. Fans are excited as well on how Elizabeth and Catherine will work together to plot Mary’s downfall as Catherine is known to do things her way and Elizabeth seems to be a woman of enough power to get what she desires.
Executive Producer Laurie McCarthy describes Elizabeth as a ‘survivalist’ as she is a woman living in a man’s world. McCarthy promises fans that there will eventually be interactions between the French and English courts with the possibility of rivals Mary and Elizabeth finally coming face to face soon.
McCarthy also hints that Frary, short for Mary and Francis, will grow closer again on Season 3 after they have rekindled their romance last season.
