For whatsoever it’s worth, at this instant, bookies still have Daniel Craig as the odds-on favorite to play 007 in the next James Bond motion picture, but rumors about other actors being observed for the role have been churning out for some stretch.
At one point Tom Hiddleston, the Thor actor, had the odds tipped heavily in his favor.Further names that have been thrown around consist of Jamie Bell, Aidan Turner, Michael Fassbender, and the fan favorite Idris Elba. While a few of those performers seem like fine picks, Sony’s interest in co-financing the movie, at least rendering to these reports, relies deeply on Daniel Craig’s return.
It should also be considered that The Sun, is a gossip site, so what they are saying should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. Not just that, but Daniel Craig is presently starring in a production of Othello on Broadway, at work with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, so clearly there is still a good rapport between the two.
For the moment, things are still very blurred, although if Daniel Craig does eventually decide that he is done with Bond, things are going to get very interesting, very fast.
