As per Christian Today, Fox has initially planned for a 2016 premiere date for the revival of “Prison Break” but pushed it back to make room for its new series, a baseball drama titled “Pitch.”
Both “Prison Break” and the final season of “Bones” have been delayed to give way for Fox’s pilot series which airs this fall.
“Pitch” is scheduled to air Thursdays, the timeslot originally planned for “Bones.” The final season of “Bones” will premiere early next year. Fox has not yet given an official date for the premiere of “Prison Break” Season 5.
The series originally aired from 2005 to 2009 spanning four seasons. It revolves around two brothers, one of which has been sentenced for a crime he doesn’t commit, and the other one devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape from prison and clear his name.
