We suspect that Michael’s son will play a major role in this season, one way or another. He is one of the main reasons why the conflict between him and Sara is so dramatic, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the writers are preparing to use the child as the main leverage in some of their subplots.
But there is still time before season 5 arrives – at least a few months. Fans are already discussing every bit of news about the new season in detail, so we can’t imagine how much more active they will become once the episodes actually start rolling out.
For every issue “Prison Break” has had, the show still managed to do lots of things right, and it has a unique charm that few other productions on the screen have displayed. If that style is retained in the new season, we expect that it will be strong enough by all accounts.
Of course, ratings are what matter most in the end, and if season 5 doesn’t climb up the ranks successfully, it could definitely be the last for “Prison Break”. But in the end, at least the producers are trying to revive the production instead of putting it to sleep for good, as plenty of fans would love to see them give it one last try. Hopefully their efforts will pay off in the end, and we’ll see a strong fifth season.
