With that in mind, some fans are hopeful that we might see a return to the older style of the show with season 5, a fresh look at the origins of the production and everything that made it so good in the beginning.
It’s not clear how exactly the producers would achieve that, given the way the plot has been running lately, but they certainly have some options available and they could definitely make season 5 closer to the roots of “Prison Break” than any other season that came after the first one.
There are already hints about major plot twists coming up in the new season, and of course fans have been trying very hard to guess what those could involve. As can be expected, the producers are very tight-lipped about the situation at the moment, and it’s impossible to get anything out of them.
But this is most certainly for the better, according to most fans. A production like “Prison Break” relies a lot on the element of mystery and suspense to achieve its effect, and spoiling even minor surprises from the plot of the upcoming season could have a dramatic impact on it. Especially after the show has been off the screen for so long, and its fans have built up so much anticipation for it at this point. Hopefully the big reveal will be worth the wait, on the other hand.
