Andrea Parker who plays Jessica DiLaurentis and her twin sister Mary Drake has been upgraded to series regular status. Nicholas Gonzales has also joined the cast in Season 7 as a detective who will investigate open homicides in Rosewood.
Season 7 will consist of 20 episodes, 10 of which will air in the summer of 2016 and the remaining 10 airing in the winter of 2017.
Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings, will make her directorial debut this season. Bellisario is set to direct the 15th episode of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7.
