As showrunner Marlene King promised, the summer finale will bring the biggest death in the show. While it looks impossible that Spencer will die, the fates of Toby, Yvonne, and Jenna are still uncertain.
As for Aria, seeing her fiance reunite with her former girlfriend after finding out that she’s indeed alive, will probably delay her wedding. In fact, a wedding might not even happen for Ezra and Aria.
Meanwhile, after the summer finale, King along with Sasha Pieterse, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, and Shay Mitchell announced via Facebook Live that Season 7 will indeed be the last of the series.
They revealed that the final 10 episodes of the show, which will resume in April, will be the final 10 episodes of the Freeform drama.
The network has also planned a special two-hour series finale for the last episode. King says that it was hard to say goodbye, but the decision was a mutual one between her, the network, and the whole cast.
The five girls took the opportunity to thank their fans who have supported the show since the beginning. They also tease fans what will happen when the show returns to Freeform next year.
