“Pretty Little Liars” has been running for six seasons so far, and it’s been confirmed that the show will get one more before it ends. We don’t know what exactly that could involve, but it’s worth noting that it’s not the first time we’re hearing hints about a possible film based on the show.
Indeed, about one year ago, Marlene King dropped some hints that there might be a film coming at some point, and she also claimed that this has actually always been the main goal of the people behind the show. They’ve wanted to see it start out as a TV show and evolve into something different, something on a grander scale, and ending up with an entirely new line of life.
A full film release is also something fans have been asking for already, and it’s clear that many people who watch the show would also be happy to see a good film continuation of the plot. Of course, we don’t know what the story of the film could be about exactly, and that’s actually going to be quite an important detail. But if the writers touch on some of the more interesting minor plot lines that were started in the TV show, that could end up a very interesting film.
Meanwhile, the show itself has been going in an interesting direction, and the plot just got even more exciting now that it’s been revealed who the mysterious “A” character really was. The characters now have to deal with even more difficulties now that they know who they’re up against exactly, and while they originally thought that discovering the identity of the character is going to be helpful to them, it actually seems to have made the situation even more complicated and they now have new difficulties to deal with.
We’re going to see the girls going their own separate ways now and there will be some emotional moments as their paths are separating in the new episodes, but that won’t be a permanent change, according to hints that we’ve heard. There will be some exciting moments in the future as the characters will be brought back together, and it will make things even better for all of them after they’ve had the chance to appreciate the connection they had.
