Popular Rumors Involving Batman Arkham Knight, Prequel Comic Series Releasing 2nd June!

In just a few days, Batman Arkham Knight will be available for all of the home consoles. He was gone way too long, and fans have been waiting for a long time now. The earlier release date was supposed to be in 2014, and then it got pushed back due to a multi-month delay. It was originally supposed to be a 2014 release traveled way back to the halfway mark of 2015.

After looking at the problems, which Ubisoft faced with their buggy titles like Assassin’s Creed, The Crew and Watchdogs, Rocksteady’s delay should be rather justified. In a way, it will allow the fans to keep churning up those rumors and speculations. While it dissects all the information leaking out of the PR process, it will allow the fans to speculate on a lot of new things. Most of the things coming out presently are huge spoilers/rumors and needs official confirmation to be justified.

Earlier, it was thought to be false plot information, but recent reported to be a major script leak, indicates that Batman’s closest and dearest friend, Alfred finally passes away in Batman Arkham Knight. All of this makes sense as Batman’s closest ally has been through a lot already, and it’s been another year since the events of Arkham City.

Therefore, it’s not too much of a leap to accept Alfred passing away gently. However, we all know that Alfred has almost remained a ‘no touch territory’ in Batman comic series. It is the biggest weakness of Batman and any trouble with Alfred is usually followed by major bone crunching, dealt out by the Bat.

Among all the rumors, one of them has particularly attracted the crowd where he is supposedly Bruce’s son Damian. Being the mother of the presently deceased Talia Al Ghul, he has ample reason to take down his father.

In other news, it seems that a digital-first prequel comic will be released, all set to explore Gotham after the events and crazy ending of Arkham City. It will launch on June 2, 2015 and is completely set before the events that take place in Batman Arkham Knight. According to Entertainment Weekly, Batman, and Robin scriptwriter, Pete Tomasi is writing the series along with interior art from Art Thibert and Viktor Bogdanovic.

The covers will be provided by Dan Panosian. In this series, gamers will be introduced to the mysterious villain the upcoming title. The Arkham Knight is featured in the background of the cover, and as we are all aware, his identity is yet to be discovered.
