Pokemon GO Coming in July, Are You Ready to Catch ‘Em All? Let’s See

Some players have been a bit skeptical about the new direction of development that we’ve seen in “Pokemon GO”, but most agree that this is actually beneficial to the franchise as a whole. It’s important to keep experimenting, especially when it comes to modern technologies. “Pokemon” is quite the old franchise at this point and it definitely shouldn’t stick to paradigms that worked well for it in the beginning just for legacy’s sake.

But so far, it looks like the game is being handled very well, at least from what has been publicly released about it. Players are also sufficiently excited about it, so everything is pretty much lined up for the major release in July.

There are some worrying predictions among fans that the initial surge of players might cause severe stress on the servers, given the new type of gameplay, but we’re confident that the developers have prepared adequately for that.

Plus, it shouldn’t take too long for those issues to be resolved if there is indeed something wrong with the server balance at first. It’s more important that the developers keep an eye on statistics about the gameplay and make sure to implement changes as quickly as possible, because balance will likely have to be changed a lot in the beginning. If that’s approached responsibly, then the game can survive for a very long time, and can lay the foundations for many updates in the future.
