The game might have started with a few hiccups right after it was launched, but things changed in December, and the game now has a solid hold. Players started the game with gusto but soon lost interest as there weren’t many updates.
Niantic is taking note of these problems and have already begun working towards rectifying them. Niantic has pushed their new Year’s update already after the Christmas event. The company had themed events for 2016, and they were holiday themed. The updates included Pikachu with a Santa hat on and Baby Pokémon.
Players are excited about the Gen 2 update for Pokémon Go. The update will be the biggest that the game has seen and will introduce over hundred new Pokémon into the game. The new Pokémon will make the game more enjoyable and also help the players move around the capture different kinds of Pokémon.
Niantic hasn’t revealed the official date for the Gen 2 Pokémon Go update.
Yahoo! News reported that Niantic is planning on releasing the Legendary Pokémon update. This update will introduce Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. The Pokémon in this update are all bird-type and will be part of the game’s Spring update.
