There have been some rumors that a more substantial update/upgrade might be coming to PlayStation Plus at some point in the future, but we don’t know what exactly that could be about, nor when it might be planned for. The rumors were pretty vague as well, so for what it’s worth, we wouldn’t take them too seriously right now.
On the other hand, Sony have been continuously updating the main operating system of their latest console, adding even more polish behind the scenes and making it run more smoothly and reliably. Not that people have been complaining about responsiveness issues with the PlayStation 4 too much, but it’s still good to see that Sony are putting hard work in the console’s operating system.
Previously, they added some new features to the OS, such as Suspend/Resume for almost all of their titles, as well as the ability to backup and restore hard drive data.
Players can now search for their Facebook Friends through their linked accounts, and the console supports 60FPS remote play. All in all, it’s moving along quite nicely, and we expect even more great developments in the future of the PlayStation 4. Especially as more major titles start rolling out for it, which of course is going to draw even more attention and buyer interest to the console itself.
