PlayStation Plus September Games Include Journey, Service Now more Expensive!

We don’t really expect Sony to make any statement for some time though, as the company will have to maintain their relations with fans on a good level right now. And unfortunately, addressing the price hike directly probably wouldn’t be received very well by most, as Sony wouldn’t have many good arguments to defend their actions with.

If their subscriber numbers start going down, maybe that would be enough motivation for the company to take a second look at the way they’re running their business.

Until then, we suspect that the current controversy is going to be nothing more than a temporary storm among users who like to be more vocal online, and then it will pass, much like most controversies in the gaming industry in the past.

With that in mind, those who disagree with the new policy should use the opportunity to get their voices heard right now, as they may not have much of a chance later on. This is the defining moment for the future of “PlayStation Plus”, as Sony will most likely be paying close attention to their performance on the market in the coming months. After that, the price will likely stabilize and will more or less be set in stone if they don’t see any negative impact from having it at that level.
