For August, it looks like “Yakuza 5” might get featured as a free title, as indicated by a leak coming from Sony themselves. It’s not clear if what happened was a mistake unrelated to the upcoming round of PlayStation Plus games or an accidental leak, but reports claim that the game was put up for free temporarily, after which the listing was taken down.
Many players saw this as a sign that it’s about to be featured on PlayStation Plus next month, and the listing was in preparation for that but was never meant to be made public. We’ll find out in a couple of weeks, but “Yakuza 5” would actually be a nice choice for an addition to the selection offered for PS+ subscribers.
It’s also possible that whoever is in charge of the store simply made a mistake when listing the game, setting its price instead of that of “Fat Princess”, which was actually supposed to be offered at the time. Other rumors talk about “Bloodborne” being a possible offering in August, as well as a few other smaller titles.

Valve are done with their Steam sale for the season, and now it’s time for console fans to enjoy some great discounts as well. Various titles have been offered at greatly reduced prices, including the hit horror “SOMA” by the developers of “Amnesia”, and “Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number”. The original “Hotline Miami” is in there as well, for those who want to start from the very beginning.
There has been a lot of talk about the continuation and end of the “Uncharted” series, and the current discount on “Uncharted 2” is a great way for players to get introduced to the franchise in a gentle manner. It’s one of the hottest adventure series out there, and even a reason for some players to buy a PlayStation in the first place, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Even at full price, the game is worth a run-through.
