PlayStation 4 Pro Coming Out in November, Fan Expectations for the Console Mixed!

The old console was notorious for its difficult development process, and things were made even more complicated when the PlayStation 4 arrived and developers had to split their efforts between the two platforms. Now it looks like we might be headed to a similar situation with the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Of course, the hardware difference won’t be so large this time, and it shouldn’t be such a major problem for companies to adapt their product to both systems properly. But it’s still something that they’ll have to keep in mind, and which fans will have to worry about when buying new games as well.

A few months from now, it will be obvious if developers are facing any additional issues in their work on the PlayStation 4 or if the console actually allows them to release new games without extra hurdles. Even if developers themselves don’t speak out about the situation, it will still be pretty clear when we look at the new games that are coming out. Some particular studios used to be quite vocal about their issues with the PlayStation 3 too.

Hopefully things will move in a positive direction though, as the PlayStation 4 Pro does have a good potential to change the market in a nice way. Its release is especially well-timed now with the holiday season approaching, and if it turns out to be a quality investment, Sony can easily see themselves making a lot of money over the next two months. On the other hand, if they handle this wrongly, it could spell disaster for their reputation.
