There has been reports that “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will not pick up where the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” left off because there will be a 20-year time jump.
Given that there is already that significant amount of time that has passed, the movie will thus feature Brenton Thwaites, who shall play the role of Henry. He will turn out to be the son of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
As Henry will be looking for his father, the way Will turner searched for Davy Jones in the initial three movies of the series, Orlando says that he will be the new Davy Jones in the upcoming movie.
In a recent interview, Thwaites said that Henry’s story is about a young man who wants to reconnect with his father, Davy Jones. However, there is a curse that prevents him from doing that and the key for him to continue his search is to go around the obstacle and try to fix it, adding that Henry shall also attempt to save his dad.
Bloom said that since he is now the new Davy Jones, he will be down in the bottom of the ocean and that he will not look anything like himself just like in the previous installments of the movie.
