Philadelphia Eagles Can Sign Desean Jackson, The Team Can Have Excellent Depth Behind Him

Philly needs a legitimate wide receiver for Carson Wentz and Jackson could ideally become that guy. Doug Pederson will be entering his second season as Eagles coach, and he has an awesome offensive mind. If he gets a player like Jackson to work with, it will be a proper step in the right direction.

Jackson still has a lot of football left in him, at the age of just 30 years. There is a chance that he will be searching for a lucrative three to four-year contract deal. Philly can certainly offer the money he is looking for and the years are quite more than reasonable.

The leading receiver this season for the Philadelphia was Zack Ertz. He caught 78 passes for 816 yards along with four touchdowns. The numbers suggest that Jackson would be a proper step up from Ertz. He would also be strengthening the wide receiver depth chart for the Eagles.

If the Eagles sign up Jackson, he would have an excellent depth behind him. Jordan Matthews is improving in a great manner, and he has a lot more potential in him.

The Eagles will also have Dorial Green-Beckham to be working with. He is a talented player but has several consistency issues to work through while moving forward. However, this off-season, Jackson will be an interesting name to keep our eyes on. There will be plenty of teams interested in signing him in.
