PES 2017 Shows Off Smooth Gameplay, Stunning Graphics in New Video!

“PES” has always been aimed at players who want to make more tactical decisions and feel their impact directly in the game itself. On the other hand, “FIFA” is the franchise for “big picture” thinkers who like to take a more calculated, patient approach. But it looks like the newest installments in both franchises are trying to mix things up a bit.

This is by no means a bad thing – as we said earlier, we’re already seeing interest in “FIFA” from “PES” fans and the other way around for this year’s releases – but hopefully the developers aren’t going to push that trend too far.

Because if that happens, they risk compromising the uniqueness and charm of their games in an attempt to make them more marketable, and we’ve rarely seen that succeed in the past.

Many players seem to agree that it would be best for each franchise to keep focusing on what it does best, while also improving on more general components, like the visual quality. But let’s wait until September to see the actual releases before we start worrying – it’s far too early to say that either game is losing its character at this point. Fans will be fans, and they will always try to find something to get worried about as the release date of their most anticipated product gets closer.
