PES 2016 Players Will Get DLC from UEFA Euro 2016 as a Gift from Konami!

“PES 2016” is already enjoying strong reception among fans of the franchise and players have been quite active in talking about the game online, enjoying its new features and generally having a good time with it. And yet, it looks like Konami want to do even more with it, as they have some interesting plans for its future, and they want to give their fans a special surprise. However, according to reports, the move is actually motivated by some shortcomings of recent content packs that were released for the game, and the studio wants to make it up to their fans.

The problem in question, according to a statement by Konami, was that some Data Packs were released not quite to the expectations of fans, as some gamers expected to see things that were never delivered. This led to some negative discussions related to the game. Now, Konami want to reassure their fans that they are still to be trusted, and they’ve decided to release extra content developed for “UEFA Euro 2016” for free to owners of “PES 2016”.

The statement went on to say that the studio hasn’t decided exactly what content will make its way into the release, but they did say that the free promotion will include all content included in “Euro” Data Packs, so this should include a whole bunch of goodies for “PES” fans who felt let down from the small issue.

A lot of people were upset over the lack of late summer transfers in the Data Packs and expected to see them soon, but that never happened and this led to a lot of disappointment across the game’s community. While “PES 2016” has been enjoying relatively strong reception as a whole, many fans couldn’t help but feel let down by the studio, especially after they released yet another patch which didn’t include the content in question.

And now, Konami are looking to address the situation by fixing the issues that made it to the public, but it will take some time before players get the patch. Reports claim that it should arrive around the beginning of December, and it will not only include the transfer changes, but will also add a brand new stadium and more faces for players.

There will be more content included in this patch as well, and it looks like Konami are stepping up their game with regards to the amounts of goodies they include in their patches, which could probably be explained by their recent mistake and the poor reception that followed it.

Fans have been hoping that this incident will not repeat and the rest of the game’s updates will arrive smoothly and without issues, especially when it comes to important seasonal content. “PES 2016” has great overall gameplay and the title really managed to raise interest in the franchise, so it would be a shame to see it fall victim to issues like these.

At least the title is in good hands, as Konami are known for caring for their fans on quite the deep level, and if there’s anything they can do to improve the way people see them and raise the confidence that fans have in them, then they are going to do it. Because of this, the studio has been enjoying a lot of success with not just this franchise but most of their games in general, and their improvements in “PES 2016” have been met with well-deserved critical acclaim.
