Persona 5 to Hit the American Markets in 2015, According to Reports!

Atlus USA, publisher of “Persona 5”, recently release their E3 trailer for the game, although some fans of the franchise didn’t really see anything new in it, as the same trailer was already shown previously to Japanese audiences several months ago at the game’s official announcement. Atlus also shared some details about the game’s story, and they reassured their American fans that they would still get to play the title by the end of this year.

This came as a relief to American audiences, as there were previously rumors that the game is not actually planned for a release in the American markets for this year, and that players in those regions would have to wait a bit longer. Still, the trailer that was just shown clearly says “Coming to the Americas on PS3 and PS4 in 2015”.

We don’t know the actual release date of the game yet, and of course with six months to go in this year, there are lots of possibilities. However, “Persona 4: Dancing All Night” is currently targeted for a release around the fall season, and we expect that “Persona 5” wouldn’t be too far behind. Atlus would most likely not release both games at the same time though, as they will want to give each title its sufficient amount of attention.

Plus, we recently got news about a new trailer for “Persona 5” that’s going to be included in “Persona 4: Dancing All Night”, so that makes it clear that “Persona 5” won’t be out by that time. What’s more, it could be a while until we see the game if they’re using the release of “Persona 4: Dancing All Night” to promote it, as they would want to reap the benefits of the hype the trailer would generate. Releasing the game immediately afterwards could work against their favor to an extent.

Other than that, it’s been pretty quiet on the “Persona 5” front. The last thing we saw about the game were a few screenshots that came from a Japanese magazine, “Famitsu”, in which we got to see a taste of the beautiful graphics of the game, as well as its different locations and characters.

Persona 5

Still, it’s not enough for the game’s fans who want to see a true revelation of what they can expect in “Persona 5”. We already know a bit about the game, but it would never hurt Atlus to talk about it in a little more detail, as fans are definitely hungry for information at the moment and this would generate lots of discussions immediately.
