He recalled that the previous game featured a story involving a justice group chasing a bad guy. However, in “Persona 5,” it would be the group of high school students who will be chased by unexpected occurrences due to the justice that they believe in.
The game director added that the story will definitely be thrilling for each of the characters in the game.
Meanwhile, “Persona 5” director Katsuhiro Harada confirmed the disclosure made by Katsuro Hashino, who is also designing the game.
Harada said that the playable characters in “Persona 5” will always be on the run and shall be doing things they believe to be right.
Another interesting difference with “Persona 5” from its predecessor games is the fact that gamers will have the ability to steal hearts in the upcoming game. Apparently, it will be part of their mission to steal the hearts of corrupt individuals in order to save the world from eternal darkness.
According to Hashino, the particular game mechanic would play an important part in the game’s story. He also stated that “Persona 5” would feature new storylines for each main characters and it would also come out as the largest game in the franchise in terms of content and game time.
