Paparazzis Get Into the Nerves of Katy Perry, And More!

Paparazzis has gotten into the nerves of pop star Katy Perry when she found out that some photographers where snapping pictures of her and her family from a distance using long lenses.

One week after her memorable and widely-acclaimed halftime performance at the Super Bowl 2015, the “Roar” singer was like a growling lion as she tweeted on February 7 that some photographers were invading her privacy and that of her family by taking pictures of them while at her home, notes Yahoo! Celebrity.

Katy said that it is illegal to post pictures of her at her house with her family on the internet because those were taken without permission.

She added that the unethical paparazzis were actually using long lenses to do their illegal activities of eavesdropping and snapping pictures of her and her family at her home.

The “Firework” singer also expressed her strong position against photographers and media entities from publishing stolen photos because it violates the privacy of the subject, in this case, Katy and her family.

She likewise posted on Twitter that any distribution or purchase of those types of images from any source is extremely against her will because it also puts the privacy and security of her and her family at great risk.

Well lauded performance

Katy Perry was fresh from rendering a spectacular performance during the halftime of Super Bowl 2015 that figuratively brought the entire University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale, Arizona down on February 1.

She dazzled the crowd with her performance of her smash hit “Roar” that also featured dancing sharks, a prowling metallic lion and a levitating star that shot fireworks into the night sky.

Katy Perry also had a brief but very raunchy duet with rock legend Lenny Kravitz with the song “I Kissed A Girl,” which is also one of Katy’s first big hits in 2008.

The pop star’s next act saw her on a desert island setting complete with all the props including palm trees, dancers dressed like funny sharks, and beach balls as she sang “California Gurls.” Just like her first two acts, the third segment drew wild cheers and applause from the crowd and Katy Perry knew she had them in the palm of her hands just like she wanted to do.

“Firework” was her grand finale and it was quite a spectacular rendition. She went up a star-shaped platform and elevated above the football field, circling around the stadium as fireworks were happening all around her, much to the cheers, delight, and applause of the crowd.
