There were plenty of spoilers from June 2 until September 25 where the spoiler was about the deleted scene of Season 1 “Outlander.”
The spoiler released on September 23 is actually the confirmation that the characters Lord John Grey and Roger Wakefield MacKenzie will appear in Season 2 although no actors have been identified by the showrunner or the producers to play those two meaty parts in the TV show.
In the novels, Roger Wakefield MacKenzie is the adopted son of Reverend Reginald Wakefield. His birth parents were killed during World War II; his father’s plane went down while his mother was killed in the London Blitz.
Roger is married to Bree or Brianna MacKenzie, the daughter of Jamie and Claire Fraser. They have two children, namely: Jeremiah Ian Alexander Fraser MacKenzie and Amanda Claire MacKenzie.
After the Season 1 finale in May, Moore also explained the new direction of the show for its second season.
He explained that the characters who lived in a Scottish world during Season 1 will look and feel different on the upcoming season because they will move to a French setting, which will be all about the Aristocracy, fine linens and silks, gilt chandeliers, Versailles, or Paris.
