Outlander Season 2 to See Claire Being Thrown Back into the Arms of Frank!

The composer said that he always like to think that he builds in historically accurate musical in-jokes that are so precise that there is seven to eight people in the world watching the show who will recognize and appreciate it and say that the music being played is perfect.

He said that it still helps create a sense of authenticity because it just feels authentic and it helps that it actually is.

While the Scottish influence on the score might have already been diminished because of the change of setting, the French-inspired music was crafted with the same passion and authenticity. Bear McCreary really made sure of that.

When “Outlander” debuted on Starz last year with its pilot episode, it broke multi-platform viewing records when five million people watched the show’s premiere episode.

With the impending premiere of Season 2 of “Outlander,” the pressure is now on the series itself to either equal if not surpass the astounding viewing record of its pilot episode last year.

In fact, right after episode 1 of the premiere season was aired last year, Starz was so elated with the viewing numbers for the time-travelling romance that it immediately ordered Season 2 of “Outlander.”
