‘Outlander’ Season 2 to Feature Appearance of Lord John Grey, Confirms Showrunner!

While the next season of the TV series is set in France, the majority of the action and the scenes shall take place in Scotland and also in Prague. It could be remembered that Scotland provided the perfect backdrop for the first season of the show including the Linlithgow Palace and the Tibbermore Church. The popular time travel show even had a one-month filming stint at Doune Castle.

Behind-the-scene images of the filming of “Outlander” Season 2 were leaked and showed the Pollok Country Park in Glasgow being used to depict a scene from France during 1700s. The pictures also show the actors having discussions with some of the production staff prior to the filming of the scenes.

The new costumes in the current filming of “Outlander” is in stark contrast to the ones worn by the actors during Season 1 and it seems that the attires for the upcoming season are more colorful involving blue, red and other bright colors. The materials used in making the French costumes were also lustrous and luminous.

Season 2 of “Outlander” will see Jamie and Claire Fraser continuing their story from Scotland to France. They will actually attempt to change the course of history in Paris as they will try to stop the Jacobite rising by seeking out Bonnie Prince Charlie.

  1. Wow, there REALLY should be a spoiler alert at the beginning of this article. Thankfully, I’ve read the books but many viewers of the TV series haven’t, and this gives away plotlines not only for the second book but also subsequent ones. Please add a warning.
