Orphan Black is coming soon with the third season of the very popular show you can watch on BBC America. The channel just renewed the popular show for another season and is bringing a few new characters along for the ride. There will be an new line of male clones this time around and the new characters will be playing key roles in the show. The show has already begun shooting in Toronto and is set to premier next years.
The new characters are going to include those played by actors Justin Chatwin, Ksenia Solo, Kyra Harper, Earl Pastko and James Frain. According to the show’s Twitter account, all of the listed actors have been on set for shooting this season. The producers of the popular BBC America show have also released a teaser trailer for season 3 that you can find on YouTube.
Justin Catwin is going to play Jason Kellerman who is a savvy drug dealer that appears more like a businessman to those that do not know him. James Frain will guest star as Ferdinand, who is a charming, well-educated “cleaner”. He also plays a large role as a powerful player in the secret political faction that operates with a “ruthless approach”. Ksenia Solo is from “Lost Girl” and will play Shay. She is a compassionate holistic healer with a sense of humor.
Kyra Harper plays Dr. Coady and is ruthless while also advising the military. Earl Pastko is going to play Bulldog, which is silent, imposing and violent to most. With all of the new characters coming to season 3, the show is set to pick up right where it left off last season. As you main know, Orphan Black is a science fiction series started back in March of 2013 on Space in Canada and BBC America in the United States.
The show has quite a following in both countries and is expected to complete season 3 with 10 more episodes for you to enjoy. Rumors from fans of the show has started to pile up online and they are based on speculation that has grown from the last season. Chatwin’s character is expected to spark a little relationship with Sarah, played by Tatiana Maslany, while Shay could be getting closer to Cosima.
If you remember, by the end of season 1, there are 10 clones that you are introduced to. In the second season you meet Jennifer and even more clones that add even more depth to the show. As long as you can keep up with all of the clones and main characters the sci-fi series is one you are going to enjoy, hopefully for even more seasons to come.
