It seems that earlier reports that Orlando Bloom and Demi Moore have been hitting it off well is a short-lived dating story as the 38-year-old “Lord of the Rings” star was recently seen flirting with Paula Patton during the Vanity Fair’s Oscar party.
Contact Music reported that Orlando could hardly take his eyes off the ex-wife of Robin Thicke while the actress appears to be basking in the attention that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor has been showering him all night long.
Sources said that Orlando keep telling Paula that night how beautiful she was and that he loved the way she look that night.
The actress was savoring the compliments with both delight and glee, thus reciprocating the flirty gestures of the actor. They were flirting insanely with one another, confirmed the sources.
The pair has said to have been ignoring other people in the party as they kept talking to each other. Their moment together was only cut short by Zoe Saldana who grabbed Paula for a dance.
Even when Paula was already walking away, Orlando was still gazing at the actress, obviously smitten and seemingly infatuated right there and then.
It was not clear if there was a second meeting between the two but it is most likely that there is though it would no longer be in a star-studded bash like the Vanity Fair’s Oscar party.

The 38-year-old British actor is a veteran of many past relationships; most of them failed or did not last at all.
Orlando Bloom broke up with his Australian model wife Miranda Kerr in 2013 after three years of marriage. They had a son named Flynn, who is now four years old.
The actor was also seen chatting with his ex-wife during the party and he said that even though they have split, they are very much in good terms, which is really good for their son.
He was quoted as saying that he and Miranda and Flynn are family so they love each other and they are going to be in each other’s lives in the future.
Orlando added that for him and Miranda, what is important is what their son reads and knows about them when he’s all grown up. He said that they both love and cherish each other and their son is in the middle of it so it’s really great for the three of them.
