Original Cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Reunite in April!

For the first time after the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series went off the air in the late 90s after its very last episode, the original cast members of the show will be reuniting for the first time in the upcoming Great Philadelphia Comic Con event slated on April 3 – 5, 2015.

While the original cast members, or whatever is left of them, are not in any way involved in a new project, their reunion at the Comic Con event is seen as part of the promotions for the movie reboot of the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” scheduled to hit theaters on July 22, 2016.

Lionsgate Films has yet to announce the cast for “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” but ‘throwback’ promotions of the very popular Haim Saban franchise have already started focusing on stories about the original Power Rangers cast.

Those who will be reuniting in the Comic Con event shall only be the three original Power Rangers plus the replacement Yellow Ranger since the actress who played the original Yellow Ranger already passed away, reports io9.
