“Orange is the New Black” Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in June 2016 and thus far, the new cast of characters that have been confirmed include Brad William Henke of “Pacific Rim” and Mike Houston of “The Drop.” Both actors will play as new guards to Litchfield Penitentiary.
It has been previously reported that Kelly Karbacz of “Get Smart” fame will also join the cast and take on the role of admin officer at the prison facility.
Meanwhile, Nicky Nichols, played by Natasha Lyonne, and John Bennet, played by Matt McGory, will also return in Season 4.
In a recent interview, Lyonne felt excited upon learning that her character Nicky will be returning to the show next season. Nicky was only seen during the first three of the 11 episodes.
She took the fall for getting heroin inside the prison and she was sent to maximum security prison. As one of the fan-favorite characters of the series, Nicky’s absence was very noticeable, prompting fans to wonder when they would ever see the inmate back on screen.
It looks like the wait of the fans will come to an end by next year as reports have it that the upcoming Season 4 of “Orange is the New Black” will already delve on Nicky after she was hauled off to maximum security prison during episode 3 of Season 3.
