‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 4 Cast Members Sending Mixed Signals to Fans Regarding Show Spoilers!

Season 4 of the American comedy-drama TV series “Orange is the New Black” is still more than seven months away from its premiere date on Netflix, but rumors and speculations about the show have been making the rounds on the internet, indicative of how popular and widely followed it is.

However, as of late, it seems that some of the cast members are now quashing the previous rumors about them or their respective character in the TV series.

Critics believe that more than debunking the previous reports, the cast members are merely avoiding that fans and viewers get too many spoilers about the upcoming season of “Orange is the New Black.”

Because once the spoilers are confirmed, it shall definitely lessen fan enthusiasm on the TV series; unlike in the case where they do not know at all what is to happen on the show, which would make them watch the episodes in awe and anticipation as they unfold.

Changing tunes

Two actresses of “Orange is the New Black” have recently come out to muddle up the previous rumors about their respective characters and what to expect or not to expect from them come Season 4 next year.

The character of Stella Carlin, played by Australian actress Ruby Rose, has become one of the most popular in the TV series during Season 3 because of her relationship with Piper, played by Taylor Schilling.

In a recent interview, Ruby Rose said that she is still unsure if she will come back for the fourth season of the TV show because filming has already begun in New York, but she has yet to be asked and do a shoot, notes the Venture Capital Post.

Given how Stella Carlin has become a fan-favorite character in “Orange is the New Black,” it would be totally absurd for the producers and the showrunner to just discard her away as they would sure to court the ire of the fans of the TV series.

Another actress Natasha Lyonne said that she is also not sure if her character will be returning to Season 4 of “Orange is the New Black.”

Lyonne plays Litchfield’s favorite redhead inmate Nicky Nichols, and during Season 3 of “Orange is the New Black,” she was only seen during the first three of the 11 episodes.

Nicky took the fall for getting heroin inside the prison and she was sent to maximum security prison. As one of the fan-favorite characters of the series, Nicky’s absence was very noticeable, prompting fans to wonder when they would ever see the inmate back on screen.

Previous reports say that Season 4 of the TV series would also give focus on Nicky after she was hauled off to maximum security prison.

So when the actress said that she is not sure if she will return to reprise her role in the TV show, she was obviously holding her punches, perhaps under the strict instruction of the producers and the showrunner.

Also unsure of returning

Another actor who claims he is still unsure if he will be asked to reprise his character in the popular TV series is Matt McGorry and his character John Bennett.

John Bennet is a prison guard who staged his disappearance in Season 3 as it has something to do with Aleida’s drug-dealing boyfriend Cesar, played by Berto Colon. The prison guard was last seen in Season 3 visiting Daya’s mother Aleida, played by Elizabeth Rodriguez to feel more comfortable with the family of Daya, played by Dascha Polanco.

Orange is the New Black

McGorry said that he cannot reveal any detail about his character’s fate in the TV series because he actually does not know if he would be asked to return. But if it was up to him, he would really like to come back and play John Benett again, notes Realty Today.

In other news about the show, it is already confirmed that Caitlyn Jenner will not be coming to Season 4 of “Orange is the New Black” contrary to previous rumors.
