The comedy-drama TV series “Orange Is the New Black” Season 4 will definitely be airing on Netflix in summer of 2016 but John Bennett, played by actor Matt McGorry for the past three seasons, is still unsure whether he will return in the upcoming season or not.
During the final episode of Season 3, McGorry’s character in the popular TV series left Dascha Polanco’s character, Dayanara “Daya” Diaz, and their newborn baby. The viewers thought that the two will have their ever after but the guard, Bennett, unexpectedly left the inmate, Diaz.
According to Christian Today, McGorry described Bennett as a man who wants to appear as a hero. However, once he smells trouble, he will start to shift the blame to other people and let them take the responsibility while he dashes to the closest exit. In the story, the guard believed that leaving the inmate together with his child was the best decision since it will allow others to help Diaz.
However, the actor still wants to continue the Bennett-Diaz love team, but it might be heading for an inevitable breakup so he is unsure whether he will return to Season 4 or not. In an interview with Yahoo! News, the actor said it will be the writers’ decision whether they want Bennett to come back. But just like the fans of the show, he also needs to wait and see for the decision of the writers and showrunners.
Most of the fans are looking forward to Bennett’s return to Diaz and their baby and the optimistic ones are speculating some scenarios in which the guard will come back to the new season of “Orange Is the New Black.”
According to Bustle, there might be six ways on how Bennett could return. One scenario is that the guard will ask for Diaz’s forgiveness and will ask her to take him back since no one is perfect after all. However, Diaz might react otherwise. Since the inmate’s character is known for being a strong woman, she might probably give Bennett a cold shoulder. Another possible situation is, Diaz will forgive Bennett, but her mother will meddle at her personal decision as usual.
Another scenario will reveal that Bennett left Diaz because he feared for his life after Cesar found out about the crib and chased him. In his return, Bennett will explain to Diaz that he only lied low to ease the tension.
On the other hand, Bennett might return and reveal that he only secured another career for himself so he could marry Diaz and at the same time, raise their kid without any fear. Nevertheless, the last scenario that fans would like to encounter in the upcoming season of “Orange Is the New Black” is Bennett will not return at all.
Meanwhile, one of the cliffhangers of the last season was the alleged death of Laura Prepon’s character, Alex Vause. Just like the Bennett-Diaz tandem, Vause had a roller-coaster relationship with Piper Chapman, played by Taylor Schilling, for the past three seasons of “Orange Is the New Black.”
Perhaps the scariest thing that will happen to the Vause-Chapman romance is killing Vause’s character and ending the relationship for good. The fans were left hanging after the last season and the answer whether Vause is still alive or not is one of the reasons why “Orange Is the New Black” followers are eagerly anticipating for the upcoming season.
The actress who portrayed the Vause character indirectly answered whether she was killed or not. In her Instagram post on June 24, Prepon showed a picture of her wearing glasses, an eyeliner, and an inmate’s badge. All of these indicate her return in Season 4 as Vause. However, it is not clear yet if she really survived her alleged death in Season 3 or she will just appear for a flashback or to show how she died.
Other than the posted image of the actress, there is no confirmation yet on how many episodes will Prepon sign up for Season 4. Speculations are rife that Prepon will stay for a longer period in the upcoming season since she has currently no acting commitments while her diet book is scheduled to be released around March 2016.

Suddenly Pipers Ex Fiancé is back knowing all (coz let’s face it Pipers brother isn’t the smartest .) The Ex is turned on and wants in and has more planned.
Stella writes to Piper, explaining she would have done the exact same thing if the shoe was on the other foot. And somehow ? Ends up back in federal . But. Has been conspiring with Alex’s old drug boss after he finds out about Alex still having a heart beat. Which is plausible Stella is poor remember.
Healy and Red finally just surrender their feeling and get it on. They have both had it too tough in life and are stoked to just be happy they’ve found an actual friend and lover. Thing keep quiet for them. Until it’s noticed by Healys mail order which has her feeling for some reason Jealous.
Bennett under an alias writes to Diaz telling her he has told the higher authorities of what his done.
BUT because he is exmilatery and has a silver star for saving a child and conrad in the line of duty and lost a leg his been exempt. His had to keep quiet for a while till things totally died down . He has a new Job in a Military training academy baby Frankie is with him and a live in OLDER nanny and a home waiting for Diaz Diaz’s mother is moving in to of course after she learns about her family being torn apart. Little does she know Bennett had it arranged after his lovely dinner with Diaz’s Mums man.
Now these are some of my thoughts on the bigger characters only hee hee sorry. Just watched the last episode and have my mind ticking.
