When it comes to smartphone these days, the young generation is daring to think beyond the conventional. Hence, we see the rise of regional superpowers such as Oppo, Xiaomi, Gionee and Micromax, etc. to name a few. The smartphones manufactured by these firms are just as capable and are putting up a strong fight against the big names in the industry, like Apple, Samsung, HTC, Sony and Nokia, etc.
Today we compare the underdog Oppo Find 7 against the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Apple iPhone 5C to try and determine the winner.
Oppo Find 7:
As we stated above, the Find 7 is the under-hyped smartphone in this price segment, although, the device is just as capable as its competitors. The Oppo Find 7 boasts of a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display sporting 16 M color definition along with 534 ppi density and 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution.
It features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for advanced protection along with ColorOS UI. It weighs 171 grams and measures 152.6 x 75 x 9.2 mm. The device comes with 32 GB of built-in memory along with 3 GB of RAM. The Find 7 can be expanded up to 128 GB via an external MicroSD Card.
It boasts of a 13 MP primary camera that is capable of capturing images at a maximum of 4,160 x 3,120 pixels and has dual LED Flash with autofocus. The Find 7 further sports a 5 MP secondary camera.
Samsung Galaxy S5:
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch SuperAMOLED capacitive display with 16 M color definition, 432 ppi density and 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution. It boasts of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for advanced protection with TouchWiz UI.
It comes in 16 GB and 32 GB of built-in memory and 2 GB of RAM. The device can be expanded up to 128 GB via an external MicroSD Card. The device boasts of a 16 MP primary camera with 5,312 x 2,998 pixel resolution, LED flash and phase-detection autofocus to name a few features. The S5 boasts of a 2 MP secondary camera and draws power from a 2,800 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Apple iPhone 5C:
The Apple iPhone 5C boasts of a 4-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive display with 16 M color definition, 640 x 1,136 pixel resolution, and 326 ppi density. It is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB of built-in memory and is equipped with a single Gig of RAM.
The device features an 8 MP primary lens with LED flash and autofocus while featuring a 1.2 MP secondary camera. It draws power from a 1,510 mAh Li-Po battery.
