It is thus no wonder that all eyes and ears are now on the official release of the OnePlus Two, happening on July 27 in the UK, with a reported price tag of under £300 or less than $465.
However, more than its affordable price, OnePlus Two will reportedly sport several features that are better than those found in more expensive flagship smartphones of other big name handset makers.
In fact, the Chinese manufacturer is now claiming that the fingerprint scanner that it has incorporated as one of the key features of the OnePlus Two is reportedly faster than Apple’s Touch ID feature.
Accordingly, using the OnePlus Two fingerprint scanner can save as much as one hour a week, on the assumption that a user checks his smartphone 200 times a day and each time, takes three seconds to input a passcode. OnePlus also said that users can save up to five fingerprint profiles on the OnePlus Two.
There are details circulating in the Reddit web forum that OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Two will actually come out smaller than it was earlier reported to be.
However, the smartphone will have an upgraded 3,300 mAH battery which should make it lasts longer by 10 percent. Speaking of charging, it will also come with a longer charging cable.
