There is no official confirmation on any news related to OnePlus 4. Rumor suggests that the phone will cost a little more than $400. The phone is set to launch in 2017 since OnePlus 3 was released recently and the company waits for at least a year before releasing the next model.
OnePlus 3 is making the most of Google’s decision to kill off the Nexus phones. Google Pixel and Pixel XL are more premium than Nexus and hence more expensive. In the absence of the Nexus, OnePlus 3 is one of the only mid-range phones that runs on stock Android.
The user interface of the OnePlus phones has remained unchanged, and it will draw Nexus users towards it. The users get access to the same app drawer, settings panel and notification system as Nexus since they run on stock Android.
The one reason OnePlus became a coveted brand overnight was the quality they were offering at the price range. The phones look classy and elegant. They have the best features, the latest Android interface and yet fall into the mid-range price bracket.
If OnePlus 4 wants to compete with the phones launching in the first half of 2017, they have to price it sensibly.
